What the map shows
Vigicrues river sections in yellow, orange or red; gauging stations whose level is rising above yesterday's maximum (Hub'Eau); the Météo-France warning level of every département for rain and flooding, river floods, storms, wind and coastal flooding; rain radar every five minutes (EUMETNET OPERA); lightning strikes; roads closed by the national traffic service; and reports from residents (flooded roads, evacuations), checked by a moderator.
Am I in a flood zone?
Search any town in mainland France or Corsica: the map shows the flood prevention plans (PPRI), the areas at significant flood risk (TRI) and the flood atlas published by Géorisques, together with the natural disaster orders recorded for that town since 1982. You can subscribe to free notifications for your town.
Sources and honesty
Every layer names its official source and its last update time. When nothing is happening, the map says so; it never anticipates a warning in place of Météo-France or Vigicrues. In an emergency call 18 or 112. Official instructions come from the prefecture, the town hall and FR-Alert.

Is the map free?
Yes. It is free, without registration or advertising on the map itself, and can be installed on a phone as a web app.
Does it cover the whole of France?
Mainland France and Corsica are covered live. The overseas départements have information pages but no live tracking yet.
Is the interface available in English?
Yes: the button below opens the map with the interface in English. Editorial pages and official texts remain in French.
